| Apologetics Summit |
The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is simple to understand but men have sought to complicate it. In the apostolic era, there were false teachings that sort to undermine the pure gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed in the pages of the Bible. In our day and time, there are efforts, knowingly and unknowingly, to preach other gospels that do not reflect apostolic doctrine. The Scriptures enjoin believers to contend for the faith.
It is in light of the above that the 4th Accra Apologetics Summit 2020 with focus on the gospel will help believers to understand the gospel and arm themselves against false teachings. The annual conference was started 4 years ago by Apologia Africa to gather Christian apologists to discuss issues of the Christian faith.
According to apologist and convener, Carl Desmonds, the main aim of the summit is to harness brotherliness and also to look into the years ahead as the group devises strategies to defend the gospel.
This year’s edition is slated for four Saturdays which started on Saturday 11th July 2020 and fully streamed on Facebook Live. Godfred Kafui Nyamadi, a passionate bible teacher, started the first Saturday with a sound presentation on the topic of “What is the Gospel?”. Stay connected as the teachings unfold each Saturday.
