My dad is over 70 years now. One of the things I have learnt from him is writing down important dates and moments in his life. He writes birthdays, mobile numbers, great personal and national moments. 
"I think it is not the unavailability of tools but lack of developing the needed habit for writing things down."
Today, we have transformed from just having only pen and paper to tools like iPad, mobile phones, laptops and more. I think it is not the unavailability of tools but lack of developing the needed habit for writing things down.
