1. History. In my history class in JHS, I learnt that the then Ghana empire where we got the name Ghana was one of the most powerful empires ever. And since history invokes inspiration, I am inclined to the basic logic that if we have done it before, we can do it again. Here is an America secret: history inspires them. I have hope in Ghana because of the history of Ghana.
2. Problems. Africa is one of the continent with many problems and Ghana is no exception. Bad leadership, rudimentary agriculture, filth, untapped human capital and more. Author of 'The Power of Positive Thinking', Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, says that where there is problem, there is life. I believe in Ghana because there is life in it.
3. Opportunities. People and companies travel far and near to extend their company empires here. Logically, do you think someone will invest where they will not
reap? Hell no! There are opportunities in the land. That's why I believe in Ghana.
4. Capital. There are still untapped human capital base in Ghana that if well trained can rock the world. If Dubai with less numbers have made it big, why not us? For the human capital base, I believe in the future. It can be turned around for good.
5. Resources. Lastly, there is abundance of natural resources awaiting our optimization. Gold, diamond, timber, cocoa, oil, water bodies and more. God really might have loved us to the max that's why He blessed us so.
I don't know why you have confidence in your country but I want to read your reasons. What gives you hope in your country. Let's talk...
