Everyday Lessons #5
This article is not about honey moons but it’s about aspirations and dreams and how to attain them. One of the greatest achievements of late president of America JFK was that he was obsessed about the daring goal of going to the moon. At that time, no man had ever stepped on the moon. It was a rallying call that caught the eyes of the whole world. This goal was so popular to every American that even the sweeper at NASA was passionate about it.
The lesson is that what JFK did with America is possible for us all to do in our lives too. We must set what author of ‘Good To Great’ Jim Collins calls Airy Audacious Goals. These are goals that are unpopular and will stretch every fiber in you in order to achieve it.
What’s your moon dream? What one big goal do you want to put all your energy into so that you achieve it? Consider this: growth is possible when we set uncomfortable goals and stretch to achieve them.
