We live in a demanding world. As time goes on, the world around us becomes more complex and how we respond to issues become problematic. Family, friends, work and personal issues eat our time each and every day. Many of us are defined by what happens to us.
In order for us to maze through life and achieve our dreams, we must master shutting out the crowd. We must leave the broad path and walk the narrow path. Sometimes you must shut the crowd out of your life and be all by yourself. You have to make time for yourself. You will never give beyond who you are. The more you spend time developing yourself, the more you give the best back to the crowd.
If there was any leader who typified shutting out the crowd for personal development, it was Jesus. Scriptures report of how He most often left His disciples and the multitudes to be all by Himself. This made Him stood out and delivered peak service.
One benefit for shutting the crowd and being alone is for thinking. Thinkers achieve a lot. They spend time to look at their life in dimensions such as: Why did I fail to succeed? What can I do to get greater results next time? How can I earn more than I am doing now? They get answers. And like the saying goes, when you ask the right questions you will get the right answers.
Make time for yourself. Start with just 10 minutes and increase it along the line. This will help in shutting out the crowd and developing yourself for greater results. May you be changed!
