WHY PEOPLE CAN’T SOLVE PROBLEMS

Many people pray to be kept out of unexpected problems. Some people pray to be able to confront and overcome them.Toba Beta
A young rabbi sat down with His protégés after a tiring day. As usual, they knew that He was always ready to share nuggets of wisdom on living effectively anytime they have Him like this. There was one question they felt reluctantly shy to ask Him. Finally, one of them set the ball rolling by asking a question none other than a failed attempt to solve a problem in the course of the day. (Read full story: Mark 9:14-29). This was the conversation they had:
Disciples: Why could we not cast it out? (v. 28)
Jesus: This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting. (v. 29)
This question still lingers on the hearts and minds of majority of people in life. But Jesus was happy His disciples had a teachable spirit and they never threw in the towel after an experiment to learn problem solving. He unreservedly shared with them six reasons why people are not able to solve problems.
1. Pray-less: spend less time communicating with God about the problem.
2. Fast-less: spend less time alone with God about the problem.
3. Faith-less: less in believethat God will use them to solve the problem.
4. Authority-less: think they possess less power to solve the problem.
5. Over-dependence: think God works for us instead of workswith us.
6. Lack of diagnosis: spend less time analyzingthe problem.
Are you experiencing one or more of these reasons, then recharge?  You will never face problems beyond your capacity to solve. We fail at the test of solving personal or professional problems because we spend less time doing the six secrets above and spend more time trying to solve the problem. The more time we spend with God, the less time we need to solve problems.

Heed these insights from a Man who spent 3 and half years to do what would logically take others their whole life to achieve. His services solved complex problems such as feeding 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fishes, curing diseases, sicknesses, and mental backwardness. Never forget the words of author and screenwriter Derek Landy who said that, “Every solution to every problem is simple. It's the distance between the two where the mystery lies.”
